Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone was in second grade at five years old. Her parents believed her to be academically gifted. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she graduated in the year 1975. Stone also participated at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. Stone soon moved to Europe and spent a full year living in Milan and Paris. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling and modeling in Europe and decided to take up acting while in the country. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed reviews.
