Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She can fluently speak French, German English, as well as Romanian. Her father, who is a theatre professor at one of Romania's top theatre schools, is an instructor in theatre. Won the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award in the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008 she was named an 'Eastern Shooting Star' European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught for four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria is a Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978, Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca was born in Romania. She made her film debut with Sex Traffic. For this she received the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress. Apart from her amazing performance in Sex Traffic, Anamaria Marinca will be remembered by the character she played in the Romanian artist-directed film 4 Months 3, Weeks, 2 Days. This film received a number of awards, including the European Film Award Best Actress by London Film Critics. She was the lead in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 zile" (4 3 Weeks, 4 Months and Two Days) which won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. It also received two additional awards: the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) and the Cinema Prize. Additionally, she was a part in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca portrayed Yasim in BBC's Five-Episode The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular on Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Then, she played an important role in 2014's Fury in which she portrayed Irma her German Aunt of Emma.
